Misfits Staking
Stake your Misfits.
Earn Solana.
How staking works
Freeze in place
Staking freezes your Misfits. They stay in your own wallet the entire time, but they cannot be listed for sale while staked.
Earn points
Staked Misfits earn points continuously, from the moment you stake. The more you stake and the longer you keep them staked, the more points you earn.
Get paid in SOL
Twice a year the treasury distributes SOL to stakers, split pro-rata by points. You claim your share yourself.
Unstake anytime
No lockups. Unstake to unfreeze a Misfit whenever you want, but unstaking forfeits any points that Misfit earned during the current period.
How your share is calculated
Points are relative weights, not a balance you are owed. When the treasury distributes SOL, your share is simply your points divided by everyone's points, multiplied by the total SOL being distributed. Only the ratios matter.
Every staked Misfit earns the same base rate of 10 points per day. Because the base is the same for every Misfit, which Misfit you stake never changes what you earn. Two things raise that rate: how many Misfits you stake, and how long each one stays staked.

Where the SOL comes from
The treasury accumulates SOL from across the ecosystem:
- Royalties on secondary sales
- Revenue from The Misfits Lab
- Revenue from raffles and auctions
- Revenue from the tools

Distributions
Distributions happen twice a year. Around an announced date, give or take a few days, we take a snapshot over a short window. At that moment your points are measured and your share is fixed into a permanent record. The SOL amount is discretionary and announced at the time. It is never promised in advance.
After the snapshot, your point accrual for the period resets and the next period begins, while your duration clocks keep running.
Frequently asked questions
How are staking rewards calculated?
Every staked Misfit earns a base of 10 points per day, raised by two multipliers: one for how many Misfits your wallet stakes, and one for how long each Misfit stays staked. When the treasury distributes SOL, your share is your points divided by everyone's points, multiplied by the total SOL being distributed.
How often are staking rewards paid out?
Twice a year. Around an announced date, a snapshot is taken over a short window, your points are measured, and your share of the SOL is fixed into a permanent record. You then claim your share. The SOL amount is discretionary and announced at the time.
What happens to my points if I unstake?
Unstaking a Misfit forfeits any points it earned during the current period. There are no lockups, so you can unstake whenever you want, but it pays to stay staked through the snapshot.
Does it matter which Misfit I stake?
No. Every Misfit earns the same base rate, so which specific Misfit you stake never changes your rewards. Only how many you stake and how long they stay staked matter.
