How The Lab works
Frequent drops
New traits are added to The Lab periodically, and they can come from any trait category. Supply for each drop is usually limited, and once a trait sells out it is gone for good.
Priced to collect
Every new trait has its own supply and price. Most cost less than 0.1 SOL, so building the Misfit you want stays accessible.
Floor to grail
Some traits replace a specific trait, some replace all traits, and some require a particular trait in another category. Used well, they turn a floor Misfit into a grail, and a grail into an ultra grail.
Traits travel with the Misfit
Purchased traits are attached to the Misfit, not your wallet. If you sell or transfer a Misfit, its Lab traits go with it.
Pushed on-chain
Equip your traits and push the update on-chain. Only the image is updated. The rest of the metadata stays the same, so trait rankings are not disturbed.
Its own gallery
The Lab has its own gallery. Anyone can search and filter Misfits by both their original traits and their Lab traits.

Yes. Lab traits are attached to the Misfit, not your wallet. If you sell or transfer a Misfit, its purchased traits go with it.
Does equipping traits change my Misfit's rarity or metadata?
No. When you push a look on-chain, only the image is updated. The rest of the metadata stays the same, so trait rankings are not disturbed.
Can I go back to my Misfit's original look?
Yes. Changes are reversible. You can revert to a previous look whenever you want.
